AirMed Helicopter Event
What: Meet the AirMed crew, see the helicopter up close, and learn how blood donations save lives.
When: Saturday, June 14, 10 a.m.–1 p.m.
Where: ARUP Blood Services’ Sandy Donor Center, 9786 Sandy Parkway (500 West), Sandy, UT 84070
This is a free community event. When you attend, you will be entered into a raffle to ride in a helicopter at a later date.
If you donate blood at the event, you will also quality for the Passport to Family Fun summer promotion and be entered into a raffle to receive a $1,500 Disney vacation gift card.
2025 Concert Ticket Giveaway: Billy Idol
ARUP Blood Services is holding a concert ticket raffle for donors in the coming months. Those who donate any time this summer will be entered into a raffle to win tickets to the Billy Idol concert on September 5.
Whole blood donors can donate every 56 days, and platelet donors can donate approximately every 14 days.

ARUP Employee Reaches 450th Platelet Donation Milestone
ARUP employee Eric Allen started donating blood in 1989 to overcome his fear of blood. Decades later, he has now donated platelets 450 times. “I was hooked on the good of donations,” he said. Read more here.
